Day 01: Chennai
On arrival Chennai airport meet our tour manager at airport and transfer
to Hotel. Chennai is the capital city of Tamilnadu and the largest city
of south India And also called as gate way of southern India .afternoon
proceed for a local tour of Chennai visit Fort St George , Fort Museum ,
St Mary's Church ,War memorial Marina beach and aquarium, Parthasarathy
temple, San Thomas cathedral basilica, Kapaliswarar temple, thousand light
mosque etc and over night stay at Chennai
Day 02: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mamallapuram
Morning check out hotel and drive to Kanchipuarm is called as the "Golden
city of Thousand temples " set on the bank of palar river and considered
to be one of the seven scared cities of India .On arrival visit Kailasanathar
temple ,Ekambarnathar temple Varadarajaswami temple, Kamakshi Amman temple
etc and proceed to Mamallapuram On arrival check in beach resort and evening
is at leisure and over night stay at resort
Day 03: Mamallapuram - Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast proceed for a local tour of Mamallapuram Mamallapuram
was the second capital of the pallavas of Kanchipuram It was earlier know
as Mahabalipuarm visit Shore temple Panch rathas, Arjuna's Penance, Ganesh
ratha, Krishna's butter ball etc and afternoon proceed to Pondicherry on
arrival check in hotel and rest of the day is at leisure And over night
stay at Pondicherry
Day 04: Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed for a local tour of Pondicherry
Pondicherry is called as " India's Little France ".The Picturesque
town set on the coromandel coast facing bay of Bengal was a part of French
empire for about 281 years Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram this world renowned
ashram was founded in 1926 by sir Aurobindo it is in deed the best known
land mark of pondicherry ,Aayi mandapam , French war memorial ,dupleix statue
,Jawahar toy museum etc and over night stay at hotel .
Day 05: Pondicherry - Trichy
The Modern Trichy was ones called as Tiruchchirapalli. Trichy became the
capital of Cholas in 1 AD on arrival check in hotel andlater proceed for
a local tour of Trichy Visit Rock fort temple, Church, Nadhirsha Dargah,
Museum, Srirangama, samayapuram etc and over night stay at hotel
Day 06: Trichy - Thanjavur
Morning check out hotel and drive to Thanjavur. Thanjavur is the home
of Carnatic Music, Musical instruments, dance and traditional handicrafts
on arrival check in hotel and later proceed for a local tour of Thanjavur
visit Raja Raja Chola art gallery
Saraswathi mahal Library, Sangeetha Mahal, Thanjavur Palace, etc and over
night stay at Hotel
Day 07 Thanjavur - Madurai
Morning check out hotel and drive to Madurai. The Magnificent Madurai
lies on the bank of river Vaigai and it is considered as "Cradel"
of Tamilnadu Culture and heritage On arrival check in hotel and later proceed
for a local tour of Madurai visit Sri Meenakshi Temple, Ashta Shakthi Mandapam,
Meenakshi Nayakkar mandapam Tirumalai Nayak Place, Mariamman teppakulam
etc and evening free for shopping and over night stay at hotel.
Day 08: Madurai - Rameshwaram :
Morning check out hotel and drive to Rameshwaram .Rameshwaram is regarded
as One of the four most scared Hindu pilgrimage centers. On arrival check
in hotel and later visit Ramanathaswamy temple. Agniteertham, Gandhamathana
Parvatham, Hanuman temple, Dhsnushkodi, Pamban Bridge etc and over night
stay at hotel
Day 09: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari
Morning check out Hotel and drive to Knayakumari on arrival check in hotel
and later proceed for a local tour of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the southernmost
point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay
of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Besides its importance
as a Hindu pilgrim center, it is famous for its beautiful views of sunrise
and sunset over the waters. The multicolored sand is a unique feature of
Kanyakuari beach visit Vivekananda rock, Gandhi museum
Kumari Amman temple evening after sun set return back to hotel and over
night stay at hotel
Day 10: Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Morning drive to Kovalam. A former fishing village and today the "Paradise
of the South", Kovalam is about 16 kms away from Thiruvananthapuram
the capital of Kerala state. Brought to the public eye by the Maharaja of
Travancore, it is a natural bay free from high waves and surges. Kovalam
has three successive crescent shaped beaches and Ayurvedic massage and yoga
centers, water sports facilities and a host of cultural programs make this
place a popular tourist haven for visitors from around the globe on arrival
check in beach resort and rest of the day is at leisure
Day 11: Kovalam
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed for a local tour of Kovalam and
rest of the day is at leisure to take Ayurvedic massage and relax on the
beach shore and over night stay at Kovalam
Day 12 : Kovalam - Trivanduram
Fee day at Kovalam evening transfer to Trivanduram airport to board your
flight and return back home
